The "Consortium of  Educational Institutions in Digital Health" ("CONEDIG") is an organ of the ISfTeH, academically independent, that operates under the umbrella of the Society's Education Program and
Management Board.

CONEDIG’s purpose is to assist the Consortium’s partners to coordinate their programs around Digital Health education issues (including Telemedicine, eHealth, m-Health, Medical Informatics,
Bio-Medical Engineering, etc.) such as teaching, research, development, practical applications in view of initial graduation and post-graduation.

Tutorial: The objectives are to raise awareness and train health professionals in e-health and the use of telemedicine in their daily practice to consolidate the city-hospital link between hospital practitioners and liberal health professionals but also between liberal health professionals. All of these lessons aim to develop a network of multidisciplinary skills among health professionals and to support patients with chronic diseases in their care pathway, in particular outpatient by integrating e-health via telemedicine (tele-expertise, teleconsultation and tele-monitoring). A particular focus is placed on clinical pharmacy and COVID-19 post-crisis management. Improved communication allowing an increase in the security of patient journeys. Support telemedicine initiatives and projects as part of care pathways. An e-health simulation structure is also offered to various health professionals to provide training and awareness of e-health tools. These training courses give rise to numerous partnerships, notably with the French-speaking country Canada (Quebec-Montreal), Tunisia, Algeria, Belgium, Switzerland.

Version en français​: Diplôme ouvert à la formation continue des professionnels de santé mais également à la formation initiale des étudiants des métiers de la santé.
Les objectifs sont de sensibiliser et de former les professionnels de santé à la e-santé et à l’utilisation de la télémédecine dans leur pratique quotidienne pour consolider le lien ville-hôpital entre les praticiens hospitaliers et les professionnels de santé libéraux mais aussi entre les professionnels de santé libéraux. L’ensemble de ces enseignements visent à développer un réseau de compétences pluridisciplinaires parmi les professionnels de santé et d’accompagner les patients atteints de maladies chroniques dans leur parcours de soins notamment ambulatoire en y intégrant la e-santé via la télémédecine (télé-expertise, téléconsultation et télésurveillance). Un focus tout particulier est porté sur la pharmacie clinique et la gestion post-crise COVID-19. L’amélioration de la communication permettant une augmentation de la sécurisation des parcours patients. Accompagner les initiatives et projets de télémédecine dans le cadre des parcours de soins. Une structure de simulation en e-santé est également proposée aux différents professionnels de santé pour assurer leur formation et leur sensibilisation aux outils de la e-santé. Ces formations donnent lieu à de nombreux partenariats notamment avec le pays francophones Canada (Québec-Montréal), Tunisie, Algérie, Belgique, Suisse.

Tutorial: The course of theoretical and practical classes is aimed at studying the modern aspects of telemedicine and digital healthcare. The Post Graduate Diploma (eHealth) aims at providing graduates and working professionals with knowledge and competence in various aspects of eHealth, its practice and implementation, through reflection and development, by means of systematic surveys of current thinking, practice and research in eHealth. The Masters in Medical Science (Telemedicine) is designed to provide health practitioners and potential leaders and managers in the health sector with education in Telemedicine with an emphasis on issues and problems relevant to Africa. It provides graduates with specialised knowledge and competence in Telehealth and the practice of Telemedicine to improve health service to the population. Its graduates will have the foundations for specialist professional practice (knowledge skills and applied competence in Telehealth), and will have engaged with the research process and continued professional and scientific growth. This programme leads to the training of leaders in Telemedicine who are in short supply in Africa.

Masters in Medical Informatics (Medical Informatics)

The qualification provides graduates with knowledge, skills, and, applied competence in Medical Informatics. It aims to provide graduates with the foundation for continued personal and intellectual growth, as well as gainful economic activity. Graduates will contribute to society at large through the application of computer techniques, database management and hospital information systems that assist and improve the public health sector, hospital management and data management in medical research. The program strives to produce graduates who will provide innovation, education, scholarship and leadership in the field of Medical Informatics. This programme leads to the training of leaders in Medical Informatics in Africa.
